胴体

2機分かと思ってしまいますが、ツインマスタングなのでこれで一機分です。

I thought it would be two planes, but it’s a twin Mustang, so this is one plane.

モデルズビットのキットはこの数年で表面モールドが急激に進化しました。エデュアルドとは言わないまでも、十分繊細で精密なモールドになっています。エアフィックスが頑として深めのモールドを維持しているのを考えると、メーカーの思想の差なのでしょう。

Modelsvit kits have evolved rapidly in the last few years. Even if not as delicate as Eduard, it is a sufficiently delicate and precise mold. Considering that Airfix stubbornly maintains a deep mold, it may be a difference in the manufacturer’s thinking.

主翼パーツ

P-82もP-51と同じく主翼のリベットは埋められていたという解釈なのだと思います。1/32のP-51がタミヤと造形村で主翼のリベットのあるなしが有名ですね。どっちが正解というものでもないと思います。

I think the interpretation is that the rivets on the main wings of the P-82 were filled with putty, just like the P-51. The 1/32 P-51 is famous for the presence or absence of rivets on the main wings at Tamiya and Zoukei-mura. I don’t think either one is correct.

細部モールドも素晴らしい

細部パーツ類

タイヤのモールドも素晴らしいです。モデルズビットのキットは、外側はシャープだけれど、細部は昔ながらの簡易インジェクションというイメージもあったのですが、最近のキットはそんなことはなさそうです。

The tire molds are also great. I used to think that Modelsvit kits are sharp on the outside, but the details are old-fashioned and simple injection, but it seems that the recent kits are not like that.

コクピット内も十分精密です。

The inside of the cockpit is also very precise.

プロペラも実に薄くシャープです。

The propeller is also really thin and sharp.
